Keychron Nape Pro Wireless Trackball Mouse Black – compact trackball control with 6 programmable buttons
Ideal for beginners
The Keychron Nape Pro Wireless Trackball Mouse Black moves the mouse control directly to where the hands are already working: to the keyboard. The 25 mm trackball is controlled with the thumb, while the device itself remains in place. This means that there is no need for large mouse movements or a lot of free space on the desk. Especially practical in the office, home office, creative work or in compact setups. And if you don't find black suitable: The Keychron Nape Pro is also available in white.
Home Position Control – less grip, more flow
The Nape Pro was developed to keep the cursor control within the natural typing zone. For example, it can be placed directly below the space bar. Cursor movements, scrolling, clicks and shortcuts can be done without constantly switching between keyboard and classic mouse. This makes the Nape Pro an exciting addition for frequent typists, developers and anyone who wants to organize their workplace as compactly as possible.
6 Custom Buttons – Shortcuts right at your fingertips
Six programmable buttons can be individually adapted to your own workflow. Mouse clicks, keyboard shortcuts, layer changes and multi-level macros are possible, among other things. Frequently used actions such as copying, pasting, undoing, changing apps or DPI settings are thus directly on the trackball – small shortcuts that add up over a long working day.
Programmable Control Dial – one knob, many possibilities
The programmable rotary control adds an intuitive additional control option to the Nape Pro. Scroll pages, zoom in and out, navigate through video timelines or change the volume – the slider can be configured to suit the respective workflow. Together with a trackball and six programmable buttons, the result is an amazingly compact control center.
OctaShift – 8 positions for different setups
With OctaShift, the Nape Pro supports eight different orientations. It can be positioned horizontally below the keyboard, vertically between a split keyboard, diagonally to the side or next to a graphics tablet. This allows the device to adapt to different hand positions and desk layouts and is also suitable for use with the left hand.
Compact and quiet
With dimensions of 135 × 35.4 × 36.7 mm, the Nape Pro takes up surprisingly little space. The weight is about 80 ± 5 g. Since the cursor movement is done via the trackball, the case remains stationary during operation and does not require a classic mouse pad. For the clicks, Keychron uses Huano Silent Micro Switches with a stated lifespan of up to 20 million clicks. The quiet characteristic is particularly pleasant in offices, shared rooms, studios or when working late at night.
PixArt 3222 sensor with up to 4000 DPI
Inside, a PixArt 3222 sensor works with an adjustable range from 0 to 4000 DPI. The polling rate can be selected between 125 Hz, 500 Hz and 1000 Hz. With a maximum of 1000 Hz, position data is transmitted up to 1000 times per second - suitable for direct and responsive cursor control.
2.4 GHz, Bluetooth and USB-C
The Nape Pro supports three connection types. 2.4 GHz wireless is available for a low-latency desktop connection, Bluetooth is suitable for notebooks, tablets and flexible multi-device setups. Alternatively, the trackball mouse can be used wired via USB-C and charged at the same time. The specified wireless range is around 10 m.
Up to 50 hours of battery life
The integrated 200 mAh battery allows for up to 50 hours of runtime. The full charging time is about 2 hours and charging is via USB-C. This makes the Nape Pro suitable for both fixed workstations and mobile setups.
More customizations with the Keychron Launcher
The Nape Pro is based on ZMK and can be configured via the Keychron Launcher Web App. Keys can be reassigned, shortcuts can be defined and macros can be created. The personal settings are stored directly on the device. If you switch between different computers, you can simply take your configuration with you.
More versatile than a classic mouse
The Nape Pro can not only be used as a compact trackball mouse. Thanks to its programmable controls, it is also suitable as a keyboard companion, macro controller as well as for presentation and media control. It is particularly interesting wherever frequent commands should be accessible without large hand movements.
