Keychron Q11 Ultra 8K Black Red Switch (CH) Knob – Ergonomic Split Keyboard with 8K Wireless
Ideal for beginners
The Keychron Q11 Ultra 8K combines an ergonomic 75% split design with a solid aluminum case and the familiar ISO-CH layout. Both keyboard halves can be positioned freely on the desk – closer together, further apart or slightly angled. This allows hands and shoulders to be aligned more naturally. This makes a noticeable difference, especially during long working days or extended gaming sessions. Practical: There is no annoying cable running between the two halves. The built-in Keychron Silk POM Red switches work linearly and pleasantly lightly. With 45 ± 15 gf actuation force, 2.0 ± 0.4 mm travel and 4.0 ± 0.4 mm total travel, they are suitable for fast inputs as well as for longer typing tasks. The switches are pre-lubricated at the factory and designed for up to 50 million keystrokes.
For IT professionals & enthusiasts
Inside, there is much more than just an unusual layout. The CNC-machined aluminum housing is combined with a PC plate and a multi-layer damping system. Sound Absorbing Foam, IXPE Foam, PET Film, Latex Bottom Pad, Bottom Case Acoustic Foam and Bottom Case PET Film reduce unwanted resonances and ensure a controlled, rich key sound. Thanks to hot-swap support, compatible 3-pin and 5-pin MX switches can be changed without soldering. In addition, there are screw-in PCB stabilizers, KSA Double-Shot PBT keycaps and five separate macro keys M1 to M5. The programmable rotary control provides additional direct access to frequently used functions.
Freer, Cleaner, Truly Wireless
The Q11 Ultra 8K supports three connection types: 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB-C. The keyboard achieves a polling rate of 8,000 Hz via 2.4 GHz and wired. Bluetooth works at 125 Hz and allows the connection with up to three devices. The integrated 4,000 mAh lithium polymer battery achieves a runtime of up to 160 hours at 2.4 GHz, 8,000 Hz and with the lighting off.
A Split Setup Without Limits
The big advantage of the Q11 concept is the free positioning. The two keyboard halves do not have to be parallel or directly next to each other. This allows you to choose the distance to match your own shoulder width. This creates more freedom of movement and can provide a more relaxed posture during long sessions - and yes, there is even room for a coffee cup between the halves.
Keychron Silk POM Switch
The Keychron Silk POM Red Switches have a POM stem and a POM housing and are pre-lubricated from the factory. The linear characteristic does not require any tactile resistance, allowing for smooth key travel.
- Characteristic: Linear
- Operating force: 45 ± 15 gf
- Flow: 2.0 ± 0.4 mm
- Total travel: 4.0 ± 0.4 mm
- Lifespan: up to 50 million keystrokes
- Factory pre-lubricated
Hot-Swappable
The hot-swappable sockets support compatible 3-pin and 5-pin MX switches. This means that the typing feel can be changed at any time without having to land a soldering iron on the table. For enthusiasts, this is pretty handy – especially if at some point curiosity about tactile or heavier switches takes over.
An Epic Core Inside the Keyboard
A powerful MCU with 1 MB of flash memory forms the technical basis of the Q11 Ultra 8K. The polling rate of 8,000 Hz is available via both USB-C and 2.4 GHz and ensures particularly short polling intervals.
2.4 GHz & Bluetooth Connection
The full 8,000 Hz polling rate is available wirelessly via the 2.4 GHz connection. Bluetooth 5.3 also allows you to connect to up to three devices. For stationary setups, the keyboard can be operated via USB-C at any time.
Redefine Your Desktop Freedom
The split housing allows individually coordinated positioning of both halves. This allows wrists, forearms and shoulders to be aligned more naturally. This concept shows its strengths especially on wide desks or in ergonomically optimized setups.
A Piece of Metal Art
The case is made of CNC-machined aluminum. With a weight of 1,724 ± 10 g, the Q11 Ultra 8K stands firmly on the desk. The dimensions are 345.08 × 133.97 mm. Without keycaps, the front edge measures 11.27 mm, the back 17.83 mm. The tilt angle is 2.8°.
Satisfying Keyboard Acoustics
Multiple damping layers reduce void noise and resonances within the cabinet. The combination of PC-Plate, IXPE, PET, foam and latex ensures a controlled sound and a less harsh typing feel.
Precision Reimagined
The internal multi-layer system consists of Sound Absorbing Foam, IXPE Foam, PET Film, Latex Bottom Pad, Bottom Case Acoustic Foam and Bottom Case PET Film. This reduces vibrations and unwanted background noise in a targeted manner.
Suitable for All Devices
The Q11 Ultra 8K supports macOS, Windows and Linux. A system switcher makes it easier to switch between macOS and Windows. Additional keycaps for both operating systems are included.
KSA Profile Double-Shot PBT Keycaps
The KSA Double-Shot PBT Keycaps have an ergonomically curved profile and are made of durable PBT. The lettering is manufactured using the double-shot process and therefore does not simply wear out. The keycaps are not translucent.
Newly Enhanced Stabilizers
Reinforced screw-in PCB stabilizers support larger keys such as Spacebar, Shift, and Enter. The revised design improves guidance and reduces unwanted wobble.
Program with Launcher
The Keychron Launcher can be used to configure key assignments, macros, shortcuts, keyboard shortcuts and other functions. The Q11 Ultra 8K uses ZMK firmware and thus offers extensive possibilities for personal customization.
Unlock Dynamic Backlit Control
The south-facing RGB lighting offers more than 22 lighting effects as well as static white. In addition, individual buttons can be individually configured.
Per-Key RGB
With Per-Key RGB, the lighting color of each individual key can be set individually. For example, important gaming keys or certain functional areas can be visually highlighted.
Mix RGB
Mix RGB allows the keyboard to be divided into two separate lighting zones with different effects. This fits pretty well with the split concept – two halves, two lighting moods.
