The Keychron K4 HE in the ISO-CH layout combines a compact 96 percent format with full functionality of number pad, arrow keys and F keys in a space-saving housing. It is suitable for people who switch between office, home office and gaming on a daily basis and want a keyboard that adapts flexibly to any situation. Via 2.4 GHz wireless with 1000 Hz polling rate or Bluetooth 5.2, the K4 HE connects to up to three devices at the same time and can be switched quickly.

Inside, there are Gateron double-rail Hall effect switches that detect the keystroke magnetically rather than mechanically. This allows the release point of each key to be freely adjusted between 0.2 and 3.8 mm – precisely in 0.1 mm increments. Features such as Rapid Trigger, Last Key Priority, Snap Click, Dynamic Keystrokes and Analog Mode provide fine-tuned control. Especially in gaming, this allows for quick changes of direction, graduated movements or multiple actions on one button, depending on the depth of pressure.

The keyboard is fully QMK-compatible and is configured via the browser-based Keychron Launcher – without any additional software or installation. An ARM Cortex M4 STM32F402 with 256K Flash ensures fast evaluation of all Hall sensors, key levels and real-time functions. NKRO is active in all modes.

To make the keyboard feel comfortable in everyday life, the keycaps are made of OSA Double-Shot PBT, which feels grippy and remains permanently legible. Multiple damping layers of EVA, EPDM and silicone provide a soft, muffled sound. The frame combines aluminum and dark wood accents, while the bottom is made of ABS. The keyboard measures 377.1 × 126.4 mm, the height is 31.7 mm at the front and 40.9 mm at the rear including keycaps. The weight is about 1066 g.

The north-facing RGB LEDs offer over 22 lighting modes, adjustable brightness, effect speed and individual color adjustments in the launcher. The power supply is provided by a 4000 mAh battery, which lasts up to 110 hours in operation without lighting. The K4 HE is hot-swappable and supports all of Keychron's double-rail Hall Effect switches.

The ISO-CH variant comes with all Swiss special characters, the typical ISO Enter key and additional keycaps for macOS and Windows. This allows the K4 HE to be flexibly integrated into various setups – whether on a Mac, Windows PC or Linux.
