The Wooting Lubrication Toolkit Set brings together the most important tools for the care, maintenance and tuning of your keyboard switches. With a switch opener, switch puller, tweezers and two size 0 brushes, you have the right tool for the individual work steps right at hand. This makes it pleasantly uncomplicated to get started with opening, lubricating and assembling switches. Practical for the first attempt at lubing - and just as welcome on the workbench of enthusiasts who regularly disassemble their switches.
The toolkit has been compiled for clean and controlled work on keyboard switches. The included tools help to open switches, remove them from the keyboard and precisely grip individual components such as nib or stem. This makes the set suitable for regular switch care as well as individual tuning. Careful maintenance can support the lifespan of the switches and at the same time help to fine-tune the typing feel and gaming experience according to your own ideas.
The switch opener is made of CNC-milled aluminum and can open different switch housings – expressly also Wooting Lekker switches. An additional opening on the side also serves to click in a switch and use the opener as a simple switch tester. A small detail that can become surprisingly practical when tinkering.
To remove the switches, a sturdy steel switch puller is included in the set. Its flat hooks are designed in such a way that the clips of the switch housing are not damaged as much as possible when pulled out. Especially when several switches are removed one after the other, this makes the work much more relaxed.
The robust steel tweezers help to grasp small switch components precisely. Spring, stem and already lubricated parts can be picked up in a targeted manner without constantly interfering with your fingers. This supports a clean way of working and is particularly practical when lubing.
For applying the lubricant, the set includes two size 0 brushes with differently colored handles. This allows different lubricants to be distinguished at a glance. When using the Wooting Lube Set, Wooting recommend the brush with a black handle for the Switch lubricant and the brush with a white handle for the lubricant of the stabilizer wires. This way, the wrong lube doesn't accidentally end up in the wrong place – small color coding, big benefit.
