ARTISAN FX RAIDEN MID XL Coffee Brown

ARTISAN FX RAIDEN MID XL Coffee Brown – ultra-fast gaming mousepad with silky glide

Ideal for beginners

The ARTISAN FX RAIDEN MID XL Coffee Brown is made for those for whom a mouse can hardly glide over the pad easily enough. The extremely smooth fabric surface creates little friction and allows fast, direct movements. Especially in games with a lot of tracking or higher sensitivity settings, this feels pleasantly free - almost as if the mouse is floating over the surface. With 490 × 420 mm, the XL version offers plenty of movement space without swallowing up half the desk. The Coffee Brown color ensures a pleasantly restrained look. And with a thickness of only 3 mm, the MID version stays nice and flat on the table.

For Gamers & Enthusiasts

When raiding, ARTISAN is pretty uncompromising on speed. The manufacturer calls it its fastest mousepad surface. The finely structured, particularly smooth fabric surface reduces friction and allows quick flicks, fluid tracking and small corrections without the typical "sticking" when the mouse starts. This makes raiding particularly interesting for high-sensitivity gamers and anyone who prefers a very free mouse movement. If you come from a classic control pad, you might raise your eyebrow briefly on the first swipe - something really works here. The surface is made of 78% polyester and 22% polyurethane. The result is a very smooth texture with a constant gliding feel.

Lightning-Fast, Silky Smooth.

The name is quite apt: Raiding combines an extremely fast gliding surface with a strikingly silky texture. Low friction does not automatically mean a complete loss of control. Small corrections remain possible, while quick changes of direction and flicks are particularly easy. This character is particularly noticeable in fast-paced shooters or tracking-heavy game situations. The mouse can be accelerated without much resistance and remains pleasantly constant even during longer movements.

Base Types

This variant uses the fixed MID base. Compared to XSOFT or SOFT, it yields much less under pressure. As a result, the gliding behavior hardly changes during the mouse movement - good for gamers who are looking for a feeling that is as reproducible as possible. ARTISAN MID is therefore primarily assigned to tracking-heavy play styles. At the same time, the MID version is slightly thinner at 3 mm than the 4 mm thick XSOFT and SOFT versions.

• Base Type: MID
• Hardness: firm
• Characteristics: particularly constant glide
• Recommended for: Tracking-heavy playstyles
• Thickness: 3 mm

Mousepad Sizes

The XL version measures 490 mm in width and 420 mm in depth. This leaves enough space for larger mouse movements without the need for an XXL deskpad.

• Size: XL
• Width: 490 mm
• Depth: 420 mm
• Thickness at MID: 3 mm

Material & Surface

• Material: 78% polyester, 22% polyurethane
• Character: extremely fast and very smooth
• Color: Coffee Brown
• Made in Japan

Conclusion & Recommendation

The ARTISAN FX RAIDEN MID XL Coffee Brown is not a cozy control pad for heavy, slowed down mouse movements. It wants speed – and quite a lot of it. The combination of a silky surface, low friction and a firm MID base is particularly suitable for fast flicks, continuous tracking and higher sensitivity settings. If you're looking for an extremely fast fabric mousepad with constant glide, then you won't go wrong with the ARTISAN FX RAIDEN MID XL Coffee Brown.
