Keychron's Q1 is a high-quality barebones keyboard where every key switch, keycap, stabilizer, and even plate can be customized. It is designed to create an ingenious typing experience through comprehensive personalization.

High-quality materials

The Q1 barebone consists of a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum housing that goes through 24 processes, including polishing, anodizing and sandblasting. The seal-mounted design gives the board a comfortable, flexible writing experience with an excellent sound. The maximum flex of the Q1 is up to 2.5 mm.

Compatibility with Mac and Windows

The barebones keyboard has a toggle switch for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.

Programming with QMK & VIA

With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap any key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware VIA allows you to define any key, keyboard layout, or backlight. Even writing the MACROS for individual keyboard shortcuts that you want on your Keychron Q1. VIA supports macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Hot-swappable board with premium switches and stabilizers

The hot-swappable board supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical MX switches. Included in the Q1 are Gateron screw stabilizers that provide stability and smoothness. The screw design also allows compatibility with a wide range of other stabilizers.

South-facing RGB lighting

The south-facing RGB-SMD LED lighting is easy to see, so each button can be individually illuminated. Ideal for non-translucent PBT keycaps.
